Dates: BS and AD
Typing dates quickly in Bikram Sambat or AD, and how the fiscal year works.
Which calendar
Each company has a Default company date (AD / BS), chosen when you create it (BS by default for Nepal). Reports and ledgers show the Miti (BS) and the AD date side by side.
F2 changes the working date: the box has an AD Date row and a BS Date row; type in either and the other fills in. In a voucher, F2 moves to the date, which you type in BS.

The fiscal year
Nepal’s fiscal year runs from 1 Shrawan to the last day of Ashadh, and a partial date is placed in the working fiscal year. In Shrawan, typing 5-3 (5 Ashadh) means the Ashadh at the end of that fiscal year.
