How to type
The same Roman scheme many Nepali typists already use. Capital T D N Sh give ट ड ण ष. Two consonants in a row join (tra → त्र). End a word with a consonant for the short sound (garn → गर्न).

Unicode or Preeti?
Unicode works everywhere: phones, e-mail, the web and SAHARA Core. Preeti is the older font many offices still use in Word: paste the Preeti copy into a document whose font is set to Preeti. Preeti has no English letters or Western digits, so 2083 becomes २०८३ and English words are not copied correctly.
