About these dates
Bikram Sambat months change length from year to year, so there is no formula: every converter uses a table of month lengths published by Nepal's calendar committee.
This table covers BS 2000 to 2090. 2081, 2082 and 2083 were checked month by month against the printed calendars: the national panchang of the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Bikas Samiti for 2082 and 2083, and the Surya Panchanga for 2081. Earlier years agree with many independent published tables.
One exception: published tables disagree about Baisakh and Jestha 2062 (May–June 2005). Dates there are marked as possibly one day different.
Years after 2083 are provisional. Their official calendar is not published yet, and published tables still disagree on some months, so a date in those years may move by a day.
Nepal's fiscal year runs from 1 Shrawan to the last day of Ashadh.
