Does SAHARA Core need the internet?
No. SAHARA Core runs on your own computer with its own database, so your day-to-day work does not need the internet.
Can I bring my books from other software?
Yes. Export your data as an XML file and open SAHARA Core's Import wizard: it brings in your masters and vouchers, and shows you a preview before anything is saved. You can also paste master lists from a spreadsheet, and import bank statements.
Does it handle Nepal VAT?
SAHARA Core keeps VAT registers and prepares Anusuchi-10 and Anusuchi-13 reports from your own books, with dates in BS or AD. A direct connection to IRD's online billing is not part of SAHARA Core yet.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your books stay yours. You can always open, print, export and back them up. A bought licence keeps working; only releases after your year of updates need a renewal. If a trial or rental ends, SAHARA Core moves to Educational mode, where you can still enter vouchers on the 1st, 2nd and last day of each month.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 (22H2 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit, with at least 4 GB of memory. Use it on one PC, or on several computers across your shop network from one server PC.
Is my data safe?
Your books live on your computer, not ours. Every change is written to an edit log with tamper detection, and backups run on a schedule you choose.
