Backup and restore

Backups are taken in the Server Controller on the server PC (http://127.0.0.1:3190, or Open the Server Controller from the SAHARA tray icon). Sign in with the super-administrator password.

Back up now

In Backups, choose Back up now. A backup holds the whole book: every company. It is checked when it is made; an unfinished backup is marked incomplete and can’t be restored.

Backups go to the backup folder chosen in Setup (by default C:\ProgramData\SAHARA\backups). Keep it on a different disk from your books if you can, and copy backups somewhere safe regularly.

Schedule

Choose off, daily or weekly. The default is daily at 13:00, keeping the last 7.

When you stop SAHARA Core from the Controller, you can also tick Back up the books before stopping.

Restore

Choose a backup and Restore. The whole book is restored; the book in use is renamed and kept, never deleted.

Check your data

In SAHARA Core, open Alt+Y (Data) › Split › Verify Data. Verify Company Data checks your books; press Enter on a failing voucher to open it, V to check again.
